Raised in Los Angeles, chef and hospitality entrepreneur Gabriel Morales brings his progressive cuisine built on classic American favorites and hints of his Latin heritage to Warner Bros. Studios.  In his role as Executive Chef, Chef Morales oversees menu development, preparation and culinary operations for the Studio’s Commissary Fine Dining Room, Cafeteria, Master Chefs Production Catering, Warner Bros. Special Events, Road Runner Delivery Service and the on-lot Avon Street Grill.

Chef Morales resume includes time spent in France and Italy gaining classical European technique and earning certification from the Ritz Escoffier in Paris. His credits include: transforming the Polo Lounge at Beverly Hills Hotel in 2005-2006; opening the original and iconic Boa Steakhouse in Los Angeles; helped guide culinary operations at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles; adding a modernized approach to the coastal cuisine at Loews Coronado Bay Resort; owned/managed five restaurants and nightclubs. He has been awarded the Zagat Guide’s Award of Distinction, Angelino magazine’s Top 50 Restaurants  for 3 years straight and proud winner of Angelino Cocktail Tour for Southern California. Chef Morales has the distinction of cooking for presidents as well as multiple celebrities.

Most recently he decided to take a break from the kitchen and join the Los Angeles Dodgers as Asst. Director of Operations for the 2012-2013 baseball season. He then joined Warner Bros. after recently departing Fig & Olive the modern French California Restaurant in West Hollywood.

Chef Morales’ creates menus with the goal of incorporating the best seasonal products from local farms and culinary artisans.
